The ECODryBlock is more than a precise dry block heater. It’s a flexible system designed to provide stable temperature control over time, helping operators obtain reproducible results while simplifying daily laboratory workflows.

Thanks to the availability of interchangeable blocks designed to accommodate vials, microcentrifuge tubes, PCR tubes, PCR strips, Greiner tubes, microplates, and cuvettes, this dry block heater can be easily adapted to the specific needs of molecular biology, microbiology, clinical diagnostics, biochemistry, and environmental laboratories. 

With a precise aluminum construction, each block ensures uniform heat distribution across all wells, minimizing temperature gradients and providing reproducible results.

A range of configurations allows environmental laboratories to accommodate different tubes for the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) test: 

Micro-Digestion Method
Two blocks support micro-digestion with small sample and reagent volumes: one for 24 Ø 16 mm tubes, and one for 18 Ø 16 mm plus 2 Ø 22 mm tubes. Both can be used with the transparent lid (code A00000493) for uniform and stable heating.

COD According to IRSA–CNR Method n° 5130
A third block, with the appropriate accessories and glassware, is designed for 4 samples of 200 mL each and is suitable for wet digestion of organic and inorganic materials, including metals, alloys, feed, soils, sediments, and tissues.
