THE NEW SEMI-AUTOMATIC DK SERIES DIGESTERS: ENHANCED PERFORMANCE, SAME RELIABILITY

The DK Digestion Units have been renewed with a new version that brings several new features to continue the VELP success story that began in 1984.

The aluminum heating block has been re-engineered to ensure maximum performance while saving energy, time and space on the workbench. The new DK Series energy consumption has been reduced by 13% compared to the previous series and the revised design ensures a drastic reduction of space under the hood.

Heating is fast and uniform, the new protection grid ensures homogeneity and at the same time is able to protect the block itself from possible splashes and chemical agents.

The temperature is adjustable up to 450°C and the internal microprocessor guarantees the accuracy of ± 0.5°C. Even in terms of repeatability and conductivity, aluminum offers incredibly high performance!

The new interface is absolutely intuitive and the digital display ensures maximum visibility with clear and easily readable information. The inclination of the panel provides protection to the display from spills and thanks to the 4 buttons it is intuitive to set up to 4 ramps and save up to 20 digestion programs for your samples.

DK 6 (6 positions with 250 ml test tubes, Ø 42 mm)
DK 6/48 (6 positions with 300 ml tubes, Ø 48 mm)
DK 8 (8 positions with 250 ml test tubes, Ø 42 mm)
DK 20 (20 positions with 250 ml test tubes, Ø 42 mm)
DK 18/26 (18 positions with 100 ml tubes, Ø 26 mm)
DK 42/26 (42 positions with 100 ml test tubes, Ø 26 mm)

Each model can be configured according to your application needs or you can choose the practical Systems that include all the necessary accessories and test tubes with a single code.

COD analysis and Trace Metal Determination: a Digestor to suit different needs

DK digesters are versatile and can be used for Kjeldahl analysis, COD analysis for water treatment or trace metal determination.

DK 6 and DK 20 allow the analysis of Chemical Oxygen Demand with a particular configuration that thanks to the correct accessories allows the simultaneous management of 6 and 20 samples respectively.

DK 6, combined with the new Mineralization Unit TMD 6, also makes it possible to monitor the presence of metals in sludge from water treatment plants, soils, compounds, waste water or plant materials.
